Yes! Visible results can be achieved in 1 session however, a course of 8 treatments is usually recommended as results will further improve after each treatment.

Results will be visible immediately and will continue to progress for the next 4 to 6 weeks. If you receive a fat freezing treatment, results will be seen within 6-12 weeks but can be sped up when combined with the other technologies.

We will never share your photos for marketing or social media without your consent but we do take before and after pictures, stored on your personal file in order to keep track of and record of your treatment progress.

Drink plenty of water and Avoid caffeine and heavy meals at least 2 hours prior to treatment. Avoid alcohol for 24 hours before.

Keep well hydrated and drink plenty water, this will help your body to detox. It is also important that you are invested in your progress and follow a healthy diet to ensure you do not create new fat cells in place of the ones that have been destroyed. Any form of exercise will be beneficial. Avoid heavy meals for 2 hours post treatment. Avoid caffeine for 12 hours, avoid alcohol for 24 hours and discontinue use of saunas, steam rooms and sun beds for 48 hours.

We may recommend a pre-peel home care regime 2-3 weeks prior to your first peel to accustom your skin to the peeling agents and enhance the results.

No, your chemical peel will not be painful. Our DermShield™ Technology selectively suppresses any tingling, burning, and itching due to its numbing effect on the nerve endings and receptors in the skin reducing typical symptoms by 95%. It also helps to prevent redness and inflammation, so rest assured, although there will be a level of discomfort, it will be minimal.

There is minimal downtime and results will be visible quickly following this treatment. For best results, we would always recommend a course of peels, treatment protocols will be determined based on the results of your skin analysis using our advanced method of diagnoses. This is a corrective chemical exfoliation procedure so you may notice a little peeling 48-72 hours after receiving this treatment, this is nothing to worry about and is simply the shedding of the old skin cells. Erythema (mild redness) will dissipate within 24 hours. It is vital when receiving chemical peel treatments that you apply Sunscreen daily (a minimum of SPF 30) to prevent sun damage. RF Microneedling FAQs

You will feel the vacuum suction and the insertion of the fine needles into the skin, there can be a slight discomfort but the treatment is not painful so numbing cream is unnecessary as it can reduce the effectiveness of the treatment. A hydro-calming vitamin complex and a cooling mask will be applied immediately after the treatment to produce a calming sensation on the skin and infuse the skin with deep hydration.

You should stop all skin care products containing active ingredients a minimum of 3 days prior to the treatment and discontinue use for 3-5 days after.

Drink plenty of water to keep the skin well hydrated. Avoid direct UV exposure for 2 weeks and introduce a sunscreen (minimum SPF 30) into your daily skin care routine. Avoid picking the skin and allowing pets or children to touch your skin directly after the treatment. Use clean bedding and towels and avoid activities such as Swimming, Saunas, Steam rooms, hot tubs or attending the gym for 48 hours.

Results are visible after 1 treatment, but we recommend a minimum course of 3 treatments, spaced 4 weeks apart.

Immediately after, the skin may be slightly red and you may experience some tightness, this is completely normal and will dissipate within a few hours. There may be mild blood spotting or controlled trauma grid lines visible on the face, these will disappear in the days following the treatment. Dermalux FAQs

Absolutely! Dermalux has one of the top safety profiles of any advanced skin care treatment or LED light therapy. It does not generate heat or UV Wavelengths so it cannot damage the skin or create photosensitivity. It has been clinically proven to to be safe for all skin types and the most sensitive skin conditions. It is also safe for use when breastfeeding.

Dermalux LED light therapy provides a relaxing, pain free treatment with evidenced effects of skin health & wellbeing. Phototherapy treatments do not generate heat but produce a sensation of natural warmth due to the increase in blood circulation.

The number of treatments required depends on a variety of factors such as indication and severity, age and lifestyle. An initial course of 12 sessions is generally recommended and when taken in quick succession, it will usually achieve much faster results.

Vitamin D production is triggered by exposure to UVB light which converts cholesterol found naturally in the body to vitamin D3. Dermalux does not produce UVB Light and will not produce a tan as it does not use any wavelengths in the UV spectrum.

In over 3,000 published clinical studies, there have been no reported side effects. There is no downtime or risk of irritation. However, it is important to disclose all medication and health conditions prior to treatment to ensure you are suitable for treatment.

Light is a powerful energy source made up of wavelengths ranging from short gamma rays to very long radio waves. The human eye can detect wavelengths between 400nm and 700nm as colour, we see this as a rainbow ranging from blue through to red but our eyes cannot detect UV Wavelengths up to 390nm or Near Infrared wavelengths on the opposite end of the electromagnetic spectrum at 800nm+. NIR is a powerful wavelength despite being invisible.
